After the tragic death of police Sergeant and rugby coach, Matt Ratana, Rumsey Films teamed up with members of East Grinstead RFC to create a short film to be submitted to the BBC’s ‘Unsung Hero’ category at the BBC Sports Personality of the Year Awards.
Unsung Hero Winner 2020: Matt Ratama
Matt was shortlisted for Unsung Hero Award on BBC Sports Personality Of The Year 2020. After a live public vote, Matt went on to win the award, and much of the footage used on the programme was Rumsey Films content.
