Mike joined director Deej Philips in India throughout February 2022 to shoot three short climate change documentaries for the series, Forced to Adapt.

“The climate crisis continues to disproportionately wreak havoc in the global south, often resulting in devastating losses to livelihoods and even life itself. In a bid to mitigate the impacts of the climate crisis, communities are constantly forced to adapt to their changing environments.

Anjana, Sreejith, and Dipika are from vastly different regions of India, but all have one thing in common: they are having invaluable impacts on the lives of the people they share their local areas with and beyond, by communicating and implementing low-cost and low-tech solutions to adjust to this unjust crisis.”

Mike edited the series, showcasing the incredible fortitude of individuals who live in the communities most affected by the climate crisis. These films are coming soon.
