TackleLondon is a youth development programme which uses the power of sports mentoring to uplift young people who have been affected by Adverse Childhood/Community Experiences (ACEs). TackleLondon teaches resilience, teamwork and confidence by creating a supportive environment where young individuals can overcome personal challenges, build essential life skills, and unlock their potential. Their mission is to empower London’s youth, providing them with the tools and opportunities they need to thrive, both on and off the field.
TackleLondon’s impact film was produced to emotionally engage, focusing more on emotion and character and WHY they do what they do. This film has been shown at several charity events and has directly led to huge financial donations and action from the audiences who see it.Â
The focus of this interview-led film is to explain WHAT TackleLondon is and HOW they do it.
In the process of creating an explainer film, Rumsey Films proposed we generate a library of content from which to produce a series of videos, focusing on different areas of the charities motivations and functions. These videos populate the TackleLondon website and keep users engaged more than great bodies of text.
We cover TackleLondon’s event coverage to engage a wide online audience, as well as reenforce the message of the event to those who attended. Reaching out to attendees with the event highlights film leads to greater engagement.Â
